Our Team Lake Oswego, OR
Erica Patient Care Coordinator & Human Resource Manager
Erica began her career in dentistry in 2011 as a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant as part of the team at Dental Expressions. After spending a few years in that role, she transitioned to Patient Care Coordinator and HR manager. She has found her clinical knowledge a great asset to patient experience, being able to help patients over the phone with a deep understanding of each dental procedure and postoperative care.
Erica is usually the first face you see when you enter the office and the first voice you’ll hear over the phone. Erica prides herself on being a team player and helping out anywhere needed in the office; occasionally you will even see her taking X-rays or assisting the doctor.
Erica spends her time outside of the office with her husband, Joe, and their adorable miniature dachshunds, Howie and Gordie. The family is about to get a little bigger; they are expecting their first child in December 2025. They love spending time on the Oregon coast or in wine country. Erica also enjoys cooking and baking; she loves sharing her creations with others and hosting dinner parties or brunch.

Sierra
Registered Dental Hygienist BSDHE
Sierra, our full-time Dental Hygienist, has worked alongside Dr. Sheppard for 3 years. She has been serving our community for the last 10 years. She graduated from Mt. Hood Community College's Dental Hygiene program in 2013.
Sierra has always felt passionate about helping others, which was a driving factor in becoming a dental hygienist. She is able to demonstrate that passion by helping patients understand their oral health in a way that empowers them without making them feel bad or uncomfortable. She eases patients' dental anxiety with her calming personality and use of minimal sedation nitrous oxide.
In her spare time, she loves to travel and chase the sun during our long winters in the Pacific Northwest. Sierra and her husband just welcomed their first child, a baby girl in July 2025.
Kathryn “Kat”

She has been enjoying dentistry for the last 9 years and loves learning and always developing new skills to bring to her patient care. Stacie is very dedicated to the profession and has a very strong work ethic.
She is the newest asset to the team here at Dental Expressions, just wrapping up her first year as part of the family here she is looking forward to many more years to come!
When Stacie isn’t at the office you can be sure she is outside in the trees on a cozy rainy Oregon day or searching for the sun!
Becky
Dental Assistant
Becky joined the dental field 23 years ago. October 2000, she joined her childhood dentist Dr. Tullis practice, a staple of the Lake Oswego community as his Dental Assistant. In 2018 Dr. Sheppard acquired the practice as Dr. Tullis retired. Becky was a great asset in the transition of all her long-time patients to the new location.
Becky and Dr. Sheppard have grown close working together for the last five years. Becky would say her favorite part of dentistry is the relationships she has made over the years, and the family aspect a privet practice provides.
In Becky’s spare time she loves spending time with her family, visiting National parks and exploring the United States. Becky spends as much time outside as she can from hiking, biking and kayaking to taking in a baseball game. She just loves being in nature.

With decades of experience in private general dentistry, Sherry has also worked in periodontics and geriatric dentistry, bringing a broad range of knowledge to her patients. She joined our practice in 2025 and has enjoyed getting to know our community, helping patients understand the importance of oral health and its vital role in overall well - being.
Friendly, compassionate, and devoted to her patients, Sherry values working alongside Dr. Sheppard and his team. Outside the office, she enjoys gardening, hiking, home projects, training with her dog "Flo", traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Cali
Therapy Dog
Cali joined the practice when Dr. Sheppard rescued her from southern California, where she gets her name. Cali was instantly meant for dentistry. She loves to sit with patients during their cleaning or treatment, sometimes she will even take a look in the mouth to check on what’s being done.
She loves all people and kids. Cali enjoys taking long walks at lunch time and playing with her squeaky toy, but she is always happiest when she is in Dr. Sheppard’s arms.
